Having the first lesson free with one of our loan guitars means there is absolutely no expense for any student wanting to trial the GuitarFX experience.

Students have the choice between shared or private lessons - both 30 minutes duration.

Younger students usually benefit more from shared lessons, as it is a very important step in learning to realise that making errors is okay and very normal. Receiving encouragement from friends makes the learning process fun.

If a student is ill and unable to attend their scheduled lesson, please contact GuitarFX as soon as possible. With prior notification, we may be able to schedule a make-up lesson.

All GuitarFX students have the option to participate in an Annual Performance showing parents and friends what they have studied throughout the year. This is not compulsory, and is a non-profit event which will only be organised if we have sufficient numbers.

A range of Hire Guitars are offered on a ‘month-by-month' basis. The hire fee is payable at the beginning of the 4 week period. A deposit fee is required, and fully refundable should the guitar be returned in excellent condition.

Students are able to purchase books and instruments through GuitarFX and we still honour the same warranty periods as the retail outlets.

All GuitarFX students obtain an unlimited amount of free on-line web access to bonus material on our website. These items are secured behind username and password access guaranteeing they are in an area which is not accessible to unregistered visitors. Whilst this area is always under development, it includes items such as course outlines, lesson guides, scale exercises, theory exercises, chord dictionaries, practice diaries and notation sheets in printable pdf format. Many more will be added shortly, and this area will always receive regular additions.
